Composition

The ideal costume photo is an uncluttered, front-and-center, full-height shot of a classmate (or two) wearing full costume, complete with any headgear and/or P-rade accessory.

Posing and framing:

Classmate “model(s)” ideally are positioned as closely as possible to filling the frame (Examples: 1962 5th reunion; 1983 15th Reunion; 1985 20th Reunion)

“Model(s)” should essentially be facing front. However, if the costume has an especially noteworthy design element on the back:

Either also submit a second photo taken from that angle (Example: 1989 20th Reunion), or

Submit a single photo showing one person facing front & another rearwards (Example: 1967 20th Reunion)

“Model(s)” ideally are shown full height, head-to-foot (as nearly as possible)

Especially important if the costume comes complete with its own uniform pants/skirt/leggings supplied to classmates (Examples: 1960 10th Reunion; 1967 10th Reunion; 1968 10th Reunion; 1995 20th Reunion)

However, shooting roughly knee-length is also acceptable, especially for the many costumes that do not supply pants/skirt (i.e., classmates bring whatever leg-wear they like). In such cases at least try to include the bottom hem of any upper-body garment (Examples: 1957 10th Reunion; 1976 20th Reunion; 1989 30th Reunion)

Ancillary costume components to include (if issued):

Headgear (Examples: 1972 20th Reunion; 1976 5th Reunion; 1989 15th, 20th, and 30th Reunions)

Thematic hand-toy carried in the P-rade (Examples: 1963 45th Reunion; 1976 20th Reunion; 2000 15th Reunion; 2002 10th Reunion)

Any other mandatory worn-on-the-body accessory bigger than the i.d. button (Examples: 1988 30th Reunion; 1995 5th Reunion; 2011 5th Reunion)
