17 October 1997: Rededication of an explanded and renovated music building. The centerpiece of the renovation is the Scheide Music Library named in honor of William H. Scheide '36, a leading expert on Johann Sebastian Bach and owner of the Scheide Library housed in Firestone. The Scheide Library is one of the world's preeminent collections of rare books and manuscripts.
