1966: Complex is given Award of Merit in the Architectural Design Award Program for "distinguished accomplishment in architecture".

17 March 1970: Building complex dedicated.

May 1993: Roof refinished.

Spring 1995: Architect, Charles Gwathmey, chosen for the construction of a new physics building adjoining Jadwin and facing Lewis Thomas Lab. It will contain large lecture halls and will replace Palmer which will house the new student center -- construction planned for spring, 1996.
