1949: Charles R. Knight donates large collection of paintings and exhibits.

1957: Interior of east wing remodeled.

1958: Grant received to build the George M. Moffett Biological Laboratory on the south side and a one story addition on the west side of Guyot for the geology department.

1964: A three story additon for geochemistry and geophysics added.

1980: An extension built between Guyot and Moffett.
